《蒙牛關(guān)于OMP牛奶的回應(yīng)》中稱(chēng)：“OMP就是國(guó)際上研究和使用多年的牛奶
堿性蛋白MBP，其安全性受到了FDA等國(guó)際權(quán)威機(jī)構(gòu)的認(rèn)可。MBP獲得了包括美國(guó)
FDA(Food and Drug Administration：美國(guó)食品醫(yī)藥品局)的GRAS(Generally
Recognized As Safe)認(rèn)證、新西蘭農(nóng)業(yè)及林業(yè)局食品安全認(rèn)證等多項(xiàng)權(quán)威認(rèn)證。
在FDA的‘安全物質(zhì)表’中(截至2007年6月29日)的認(rèn)證號(hào)為GRN No196。FDA規(guī)定：
MBP可以使用在食品中，并且對(duì)其用量不做任何限制?！?br />
前面我已經(jīng)指出，根據(jù)蒙牛特侖蘇OMP牛奶的宣傳材料、專(zhuān)利和其研究人員
撰寫(xiě)的論文，所謂OMP就是IGF-1或以IGF-1為主要成分，而不是什么MBP。退一步
說(shuō)，就算OMP就是MBP，MBP真的就像蒙牛所說(shuō)的那樣“其安全性受到了FDA等國(guó)際
權(quán)威機(jī)構(gòu)的認(rèn)可”、“FDA規(guī)定：MBP可以使用在食品中，并且對(duì)其用量不做任何
限制”嗎？回答是否定的。這是蒙牛編造的又一謊言。蒙牛聲稱(chēng)MBP“在FDA的
‘安全物質(zhì)表’中的認(rèn)證號(hào)為GRN No196”，事實(shí)上，GRN 00019不是什么認(rèn)證號(hào)，
而是上報(bào)號(hào)：日本雪印牛奶公司的美國(guó)代理人就有關(guān)在食品中添加“牛奶堿性蛋
白餾分”（簡(jiǎn)稱(chēng)BMBPF）的安全性問(wèn)題上報(bào)給FDA的編號(hào)。FDA在答復(fù)時(shí)指出：
“根據(jù)雪印公司提供的材料，以及FDA獲得的其他信息，本局目前不質(zhì)疑雪
印公司關(guān)于BMBPF在其打算使用的條件下屬于‘一般認(rèn)為安全’的結(jié)論。但是，
關(guān)于此條件下使用BMBPF是否屬于‘一般認(rèn)為安全’，本局不做自己的決定。和
通常一樣，雪印公司應(yīng)繼續(xù)負(fù)責(zé)確保該公司銷(xiāo)售的食物成分是安全的，并在其他
方面遵守所有適用的法律法規(guī)?！保˙ased on the information provided by
Snow Brand, as well as other information available to FDA, the agency
has no questions at this time regarding Snow Brand's conclusion that
BMBPF is GRAS under the intended conditions of use. The agency has not,
however, made its own determination regarding the GRAS status of the
subject use of BMBPF. As always, it is the continuing responsibility
of Snow Brand to ensure that food ingredients that the firm markets
are safe, and are otherwise in compliance with all applicable legal
and regulatory requirements.
