I graduated from China Agricultral University about 3 years ago.As a new hand in the field of animal husbandry,I want to master it very much.But without help of others,I think it will be a hard process for me.
But luckly,Dr.Wang appears in my life.I heard of him from a good friend,because Dr.Wang also comes from Linyi，Shandong province.I know his struggling process from the countryside to the city.It is no doubt that he is a self-made hero.
One day,he gave me a lot of priceless information and told me the skill to design feed formular.I said :Dr.Wang,I owe you so much,how to pay back?He smiled to me and said:You are my fellow villager.I said:HaHa,if you come to Tianjin one day,I will treat you.He said:Good idea,I love watermalon only.
We talked till 12:00 that night,and then said goodbye to each other.I was so excited that it was difficult to go to sleep.And I nearly missed the bus next morning.
Thank you,Dear Dr.Wang,this is what I can only do now,because I have nothing to give you at present.Wish there will be one day,I can do something for you!It will not be a watermalon only.
But what's the reason of Dr.Wang's fondness for watermalon?who can tell me？

1、中文里的“新手”在英語中的表達法有很多種，正如樓主所百度的。但是英語中的“新手”的表達是有具體語言環(huán)境的，不同的語言環(huán)境要用不同的表達法，具體情況要具體分析。舉兩個例子：
a) This job presents many difficulties to the new recruit.
這件工作對新手來說困難重重。
b)He's not bad for a beginner.
就新手而論，他已經很不錯了。
可以體會，上面兩個例子，語言環(huán)境是不一樣的。
所以建議樓主文中的"新手"改為beginner，當然freshman也還可以，但是它主要指大學新生。
4、最后再談一個常識,你在開頭用了這么個表達法：But without help of others…。
樓主用了of …所有格來修飾help，可是你不覺得少了點什么嗎？
如果一個名詞后有of 所有格修飾，那么這個名詞前一定要加上定冠詞the, 所以最起碼的也應該寫成這樣But without the help of...也才能說的過去。但是還是建議樓主改為But without others’ help…更好。
