美國(guó)《豬病學(xué)》第九版第710~711頁(yè)有關(guān)描述如下:
M. haemosuis (EPERYTHROZOON SUIS)were originally classified in the family
Anaplasmataceae due to biologic and phenotypic characteristics
that were not consistent with regular bacteria
(Moulder 1974). However, there was always a suspicion
that they were a member of the class Mollicutes based
on their lack of intracellular parasitism, small size, lack
of cell wall, resistance, and susceptibility to tetracyclines
(Tanaka et al. 1965). This was confirmed in 1997 when
Rikihisa, et al. (1997) sequenced the 16s rRNA gene sequences
of the organsims. The gene sequences were
found to have little in common with other Rickettsial
organisms, instead being closer to other mycoplasmal
species (Johansson et al. 1999). As a result, it was proposed
that E. suis be named Mycoplasma suis (Neimark et
710 SECTION III BACTERIAL DISEASES
al. 2002). However, rather than naming the organism
after the species it was suggested that the name M.
haemosuis be used (Neimark et al. 2001). |
